Seat Latch: Service and Repair
Latch Striker
REMOVAL
1. Position front seat back forward.
2. Untrim rear corner of front seat cushion pad.
3. Remove two attaching bolts and front seat back latch striker from front seat back frame.
INSTALLATION
1. Install two attaching bolts and tighten to 17-27 N.m (13-20 Lb-Ft).
2. Retrim rear corner of front seat cushion pad.
3. Adjust gap between pawl and front seat back latch striker by reaching up inside trimmed front seat back frame and rotating latch rod adjustment
until gap is 1.27-1.77 mm (0.05-0.07 inch).
