LIGHT TRUCK: 
1995-97 F-250, F-350

ISSUE:
A grabbing condition and/or "squeal" noise from the rear brakes may be evident during the first few brake applications when the brakes are cold or after
a rainfall. This may be caused by a rear brake lining that is sensitive to humidity.

ACTION:
Replace the rear brake linings. The new linings have been constructed with a material which is less sensitive to humidity. This should reduce the
possibility of grabbing and/or noise. Refer to the following Service Procedure for details.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the rear brake shoes. Refer to the appropriate Service Manual, Section 06-02, for removal procedure.

2.

Clean the brake assembly and drums.

3.

Install new rear brake shoes. Refer to the Service Manual, Section 06-02, for details.
