9. NOTE: Use care not to lose the mainshaft shim.
Using 2-3 Jaw Puller D8OL-1013-A or equivalent, separate the mainshaft, parking brake drum and output flange assembly from the parking brake
housing.

10. Remove the mainshaft shim from the mainshaft.
