Ignition Cable: Testing and Inspection
VISUAL INSPECTION
1. Without removing the distributor to spark plug wire (from the spark plugs, distributor cap, or ignition coil, wipe the wire with a clean, damp cloth
and inspect for visible damage such as cuts, pinches, cracks, or torn boots.
2. Replace only the wire(s) that are damaged.
