High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Recover A/C system. Observe all safety precautions. See: Service and Repair/Refrigerant Recovery
2. Remove A/C compressor pressure relief valve, located in side of A/C manifold and tube.
INSTALLATION
1. Install new green O-rings, lubricated with clean refrigerant oil, on A/C compressor pressure relief valve.
2. Install A/C compressor pressure relief valve on A/C manifold and tube. Tighten to 5-15 Nm (44-133 lb-in).
3. Recover, leak test, and recharge the A/C system. Observe all safety precautions. See: Service and Repair
