Ignition Cable: Service Precautions
CAUTION:

Do not pull on wires. When removing ignition coil to distributor high tension wiring or distributor to spark plug wire from distributor cap or
ignition coil, grasp boot by hand and remove with twisting motion.

Whenever any ignition cables are removed or installed, Silicone Brake Caliper Grease and Dielectric Compound D7AZ-19A331-A
(Motorcraft WA-10) or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESE-M1C171-A must be applied to boot before it is reconnected.
