Wheel Bearing: Testing and Inspection

1. Raise the vehicle until the tire clears the floor.

2. Grasp each front tire at the top and bottom and push the wheel inward and outward while lifting the weight of the tire off the front wheel bearings.
3. Make sure the wheel rotates freely and the brake pads are retracted sufficiently to allow movement of the wheel assembly.
4. If the wheel/hub-rotor is loose on the front wheel spindle or does not rotate freely, adjust the front wheel bearings.
