F 350 4WD Pickup V8-351 5.8L VIN H EFI (1997)
3. Install nine extension housing bolts using a 13 mm socket. Tighten to 41-54 Nm (30-40 Ft lbs.).
4. Install new wire harness locator into extension housing wire bracket.
5. Install transmission insulator and retainer. Tighten bolts to 81-108 Nm (60-80 ft lbs.).
6. Lower jack while aligning insulator and retainer studs with holes in crossmember.
7. Install transmission insulator and retainer nuts. Tighten nuts to 81-108 Nm (60-80 Ft lbs.).
8. Remove universal transmission jack.
9. Install transmission-mounted parking brake assembly (if so equipped).
10. Install transfer case.
11. Install front and rear driveshaft.
12. Lower vehicle.
13. Fill the transmission to the proper level with Motorcraft MERCON or MERCON V Automatic Transmission Fluid or equivalent meeting FORD
specification.
