Using a plastic hammer, drive the wear sleeve onto the crankshaft until the disposable tool bottoms against the crankshaft flange face.

Remove the bolts holding the disposable tool to the crankshaft and remove the tool. Make sure the wear sleeve is flush with the rear face of the
crankshaft flange, Figure 18.

Continue the installation of rear plate and seal assembly as outlined in the Light Truck Shop Manual, Volume B, Section 22-08 and Figure 19.
