If a suspect vehicle has been sold, but the owner's name and address does not appear on the list, contrat the owner immediately. Provide the owner with a
copy of the attached owner letter.

Promptly correct units for which SEVERE SHIMMY has been reported.
Eligible vehicles not on the enclosed list should also be serviced.

CARES/OASIS

DEALERS IN PUERTO RICO AND THE U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS MUST USE CARES
OR OASIS TO DETERMINE IF A VEHICLE IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS RECALL.

Advise owners of any other recalls that may be uncompleted. You should attempt to complete all open recalls on these vehicles on a single visit by the
owner.

SERVICE REIMBURSEMENT FORM 1864

SPECIAL PREPARATION INSTURCTIONS - FORM 1864
Owners of eligible vehicles will NOT have a pre-printed Form 1864. You must use a blank Form 1864. Only the Form 1864 is acceptable for
reimbursement on this program. Form 1864 preparation instructions are contained in your Warranty & Policy Manual and in the Recall Organizer
Manual. The Form 1864 must be completely filled out and signed by authorized dealer personnel. Dealers are to mail the second copy of the Form 1864
for reimbursement. Claims must be submitted for all completed units.

NOTICE
Owners may inform the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration if the recall is not performed without charge or ina reasonable time after
the vehicle is brought to your dealership for repair.

PARTS 
Parts will not be direct shipped for this recall. Service partfor customer truckswith "severe" shimmy will be available February 15, 1988. THESE PARTS
ARE IN VERYSHORT SUPPLY. DO NOT ORDER ANY OF THESE PARTS UNLESS YOU HAVE A CUSTOMER'S TRUCK WITH SEVERE
SHIMMY. ORDERING EXTRA PARTS WILL LEAD TO AN IMMEDIATE BACK-LOG OF PARTS. A MAXIMUM ORDER QUANTITY OF
ONE (PER PART NUMBER) WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
