Slowly lower axle until coil spring separates from upper spring seat.

Using a ratchet, long extension and a 1-1/8" deep well socket loosen the spring lower retainer to the lower seat retainer nut.

Remove axle pivot bushing nut and through bolt. Remove "I" Beam axle from axle pivot bracket.

Slowly lower the axle, to its limit. Raise slightly to support axle weight on jack.
9.
Remove and save the nut, two rear washers, EFI engine exhaust heat shield (right side only), insulator and spacer from the rear side of the radius
arm bracket.
NOTE:
SOME VEHICLES WILL ONLY HAVE ONE REAR WASHER.
