LIGHT TRUCK:

1987-88 BRONCO, F-SERIES

ISSUE:

The mechanically controlled plenum assembly in vehicles built before 4/05/88 is no longer available. Two new service conversion kits, one
for vehicles equipped with A/C and one for non-A/C equipped vehicles are available for use with the current vacuum controlled plenum
assembly to service these vehicles. The plenum and kit will convert the climate control system from mechanical control operation to vacuum
control operation.

ACTION:

If service is required, install a vacuum controlled plenum assembly along with the appropriate service conversion kit. Refer to the instruction
packaged with the conversion kit for service installation details.

NOTE:

THE HEATER CORE SEAL, HEATER PLENUM GASKET AND HEATER CORE TUBE GASKET ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THE
CONVERSION KITS. THESE ITEMS CAN BE ORDERED SEPARATELY IF REQUIRED.
