RADIUS ARM CHANGE (Ref: 1988 Truck Shop Manual, Vol. A. Pg. 14-21-10):
Removal Refer to Attachment 5
1.
Remove the spring lower seat from the left radius arm, and then remove the bolt and nut that attaches the radius arm to the axle.
2.
Remove the nut, rear washer, insulator and spacer from the rear side of the radius arm bracket.
3.
Remove the left radius arm from the vehicle.
4.
Remove lower shock bracket from radius arm and install on new radius arm. Tighten the nut to 37-50 N-m (27-37).
