Some RABSI Service Modules, part numbers E7TZ-2C018-A, F2UZ-2C018-A, F2TZ-2CO18-A, FOUZ-2C018-A and E99Z-2CO18-A have been
replaced with different part numbers. These RABSI modules should be withdrawn from stock and returned for credit using a # 340 claim form.

REAR ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM (RABS) MODULE

TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

RANGER

INSPECTION (Ranger Only)

1.

Locate the RABS electronic control module under the instrument panel. The module is mounted to a bracket located in the center of the instrument
panel. The location would be just above and to the right of the driver's lower right leg.

2.

Check the part number on the module label. It is not necessary to remove the module from the vehicle. The label is on the cover of the module and
is facing toward the driver side of the vehicle.

3.

If the number on the label is F29F-2C018-AD, the module is OK. No further action is required. Release the vehicle.

If the part number is a number other than F29F-2C018-AD, replace the module.
