3. Slide the driveshaft slip yoke boot over the stub shaft, and seat it in the boot groove.

Rear driveshafts 

4. Using the special tool, install the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp.

All driveshafts 

5. Install the driveshaft slip yoke.

Position the driveshaft slip yoke boot damp.

Pull the driveshaft slip yoke boot toward the stub shaft tube.

Lubricate the stub shaft splines.
Use Premium Long-Life Grease XG-1-C or equivalent meeting Ford specification LSA-M1C75-B.

Align the index marks, and install the driveshaft slip yoke.

Seat the driveshaft slip yoke boot in the boot groove.

Front driveshaft 

6. Remove all excess grease from the slip yoke boot and the slip yoke.
