Disconnect the pressure line-to-steering gear fitting and remove the pressure line (Figure 2).

To install new line, reverse the removal procedure.
6.
Torque tube nuts to 26 lb-ft (35 N.m).
Cooler-To-Steering Gear Return Line
1.
Remove the clamp and disconnect the hose from the cooler-to-steering gear line (Figure 3).
2.
Disconnect the clip from radiator support and remove it from the line. Discard the push pin but retain the clip for reuse on the new line.
3.
Disconnect the line from steering gear (Figure 4).
4.
Hand tighten the new line tube nut into the steering gear.
