Some 2003-2007 F-250/350 Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.0L engine, regular cab, and 137" wheel base may exhibit a driveline noise often
described as a scrapping noise and occurs in torque converter lockup between 40-50 MPH (64-80 Km/h) under light load at engine RPM 1200-1400.
ACTION
Replace the driveshaft following Workshop Manual, Section 205-01. This driveshaft has a dampener tuned for this specific noise.
