5. Install the front seat cushion.
Power seats
6. Connect the seat control electrical connector.
Heated seats
7. Connect the heated seat switch electrical connector.
All seats
8. CAUTION: Bend the side shield slightly to make sure the shield is not scratched by the recliner lever.
Position the side trim cover and install the three trim cover screws.

The seat backrest pivot bolt shaft must be inserted into the cover standoff.
9. Push the rearward lower corner of the side shield to engage the metal retaining clip.
