Normal Operation
On vehicles not equipped with remote keyless entry (RKE), the door ajar switch status is monitored by the instrument cluster. On vehicles equipped
with RKE, the vehicle security module monitors the door ajar switch status. Based on the door ajar switch status, the instrument cluster then energizes
the battery saver relay and the interior lamp relay. When the relays are energized, voltage is supplied to the interior lamps on circuit 53 (BK/LB).
