5. Connect the transmission cooler inlet and outlet tubes to the remote mount fluid filter housing.
6. Install the 4 secondary latches.
7. Install the fluid cooler tubes in the front and rear cooler tube case fittings.

Tighten to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
8. CAUTION: Use only MERCON(R) SP Transmission Fluid to service the TorqShift transmissions. Mixing MERCON(R) or MERCON(R) V in a
TorqShift transmission may cause transmission damage. Use of any fluid other than the recommended fluid can cause transmission damage.
Fill the transmission with clean automatic transmission fluid.
9. Check for leaks.
