PRESSURE RELIEF CAP WHEN THE ENGINE IS OPERATING OR THE COOLING SYSTEM IS HOT. THE COOLING SYSTEM IS UNDER
PRESSURE; STEAM AND HOT LIQUID CAN COME OUT FORCEFULLY WHEN THE CAP IS LOOSENED SLIGHTLY. FAILURE TO
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY.
1. NOTICE: Correct installation and orientation of the Venturi Tee is critical for proper coolant flow and to avoid cooling system damage.
Remove the radiator-to-degas bottle vent hose clamp and hose from the degas bottle upper port. Insert the Venturi Tee labeled "RAD" into the
radiator-to-degas bottle vent hose so that the "DGAS" (white strip) of the tee is facing the driver's fender. Secure the clamp into position so that the
clamp tabs are facing upward and away from the upper radiator hose. See Figure 1.
