PINPOINT TEST C: THE COURTESY LAMPS STAY ON CONTINUOUSLY
Normal Operation
When any door is opened, the ajar switch opens the circuit to the smart junction box (SJB). The SJB monitors the ajar circuits, and based on the ajar
status, the SJB supplies voltage to the courtesy lamps on circuit CLN03 (YE/GY).
DTC B1320 (LF Door Ajar Circuit Open) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open from the driver door ajar circuit.
DTC B1328 (RF Passenger Door Ajar Circuit Open) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open from the passenger door ajar
circuit.
DTC B1336 (RR Door Ajar Circuit Open) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open from the RR door ajar circuit.
DTC B1572 (LR Door Ajar Circuit Open) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open from the LR door ajar circuit.
DTCB1688 (Lamp Dome Input Circuit Short To Ground) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects a short to ground from the dimmer
switch circuit.
DTCB2A35 (Interior Lighting Output Circuit Open) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open or a short to voltage from the
courtesy lamp circuit.
DTCB2A39 (Puddle Lamp Output Circuit Open) - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open or a short to voltage from the puddle
lamp circuit.
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
