NOTE:  LH shown, RH similar.

2. Remove the 2 rear window latch screws and position aside the rear window latch.

3. NOTE:  Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide and cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide or cover is damaged or the cover does not

remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide.

Remove the D-ring.

Open the D-ring cover.

Remove the D-ring bolt.

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Remove the D-ring from the safety belt shoulder height adjuster.

4. Remove the rear door upper trim panel.

Pull outward to release the rear door upper trim panel clips.

Crew Cab

5. Remove the B-pillar trim panel.

All vehicles

6. Remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster cover.
7. Remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster bolt.

-

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

8. Remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster.

Slide the safety belt shoulder height adjuster up and pivot the top away from the sheet metal, disengaging the upper tab from the sheet metal.

Rotate the safety belt shoulder height adjuster 90 degrees and rotate the lower tab out of the sheet metal.

9. NOTE:  Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

10. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
