Removal
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the transmission.
3. Remove the bolts and the flexplate.

Discard the bolts.
Installation
1. Install the flexplate and new bolts. Tighten the new bolts in 2 stages, in the sequence shown.

Stage 1: Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-inch).

Stage 2: Tighten to 94 Nm (69 lb-ft).
