Rear Door Latch: Service and Repair

Lower
REMOVAL
1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear door speaker.
3. Release the lower door latch cable and conduit from the remote control.

Open the locking clip and release the cable.

Release the cable conduit.
4. Remove the lower rear door latch.

Remove the screws.

Remove the lower rear door latch.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: If a new component is to be installed, refer to the Ford Master Parts Catalog for specific part information. The linkage must be adjusted
during installation.

1. Remove the rear door trim panel.
2. Remove the rear door speaker.
