Slide the small eyelet (flat side down) of the ground strap between the fuel filler pipe flange and the plastic filler pipe cup, at the hole for the screw
that was removed. See Figure 3.

Install the fuel filler pipe screw at the 9 o'clock position. Tighten all three (3) fuel filler pipe screws to 3.2 Nm (28 lb-in), then close the fuel filler
door. See Figure 3.
5.
Drill a 12 mm (31/64-in) hole in the inner pickup box wall below the opening for the filler pipe. The center of the hole should be located 16 mm
(5/8 in) from the lower edge of the opening and 50 mm (2 in) back from the rivet shown in the illustration. See Figure 3.
6.
Install an M8 x 1.25 J-nut onto the inner pickup box wall at the drilled hole. See Figure 3.
7.
Install, but do not tighten, the large eyelet (flat side down) of the ground strap to the J-nut using an M8 x 1.25 bolt/washer. Position the eyelet so
the ground strap routes straight upward, then tighten the bolt to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft). See Figure 3.
8.
Lower the vehicle.
