4. Remove and discard the driveshaft slip yoke boot.
5. Check the lubricant for contamination. If the lubricant feels gritty, clean and inspect the stub shaft and driveshaft slip yoke for wear. Install new
components as necessary.
Assembly
All driveshafts
1. Fill the driveshaft slip yoke boot with approximately 10 grams (0.36 ounce) of grease.

Use Premium Long- Life Grease XG-I-C or equivalent meeting Ford specification ESA-M1C75-B.
2. Position the driveshaft slip yoke boot clamp on the stub shaft.
