Place the Add-on Shield (XC3Z-2B636-BA) on top of the production brake dust shield. Verify the three (3) raised points of the add-on shield fit
into the groove of the production dust shield. Align the add-on shield so that the edges align with the caliper opening on the production shield.
Clamp in place with visegrips or comparable device (Figure 1).

Mark the five (5) rivet locations in the production shield using the add-on shield as a template and drill five (5) 4.65-4.90mm diameter holes
through the original shield (Figure 2).

Rivet the add-on shield in place onto the production shield using five (5) Rivets W5251 06-S427).
9.
Install the production Brake Dust Shield (F81Z-2K004-AA), with the add-on shield attached to it, back on the vehicle using four (4) bolts
(N611172-5301). Reference Workshop Manual, Section 206-04 for required torques and proper orientation of shield.
