Radiator Hose: Service and Repair
Radiator Hoses (Lower)
Removal
CAUTION: Do not mix Standard (green) Coolant with Extended Life Coolant (orange). If this contamination occurs the service change
interval on Extended Life Coolant will be reduced from 6 years/150,000 miles to 3 years/30,000 miles.
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Loosen the air intake clamp and position the air cleaner cover out of the way.
3. Remove the lower radiator hose from the water inlet connection.
4. Raise and support the vehicle.
5. Remove the lower radiator hose from the radiator.
6. Remove the oil filter.
