Engine Oil Dip Stick - Dip Stick Tube: Service and Repair
Dip Stick Tube
Removal
1. Remove the engine Air Cleaner (ACL) and the air cleaner outlet tube.
2. Remove the left exhaust manifold.
3. Remove the bolt and remove the oil level indicator tube.
4. Inspect the oil level indicator tube for damage.
Installation
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Replace and lubricate the O-rings with Super Premium SAE 5W30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford specification
WSS-M2C153-G.
3. Install the left exhaust manifold.
