Removal
1. Remove the differential case.
2. Remove the driveshaft.
3. CAUTION: After removal of the pinion nut, discard it. A new nut must be used for installation.
Remove the pinion nut using the Flange Holder.
4. Remove the rear axle companion flange, using the 2-Jaw Puller.

Remove the rear axle drive pinion seal.

Remove the rear axle drive pinion shaft oil slinger.
