Removal and Installation
All engines
1. Drain the cooling system.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube
3. Disconnect the upper radiator hose and the degas bottle hose.
5.4L engines
4. CAUTION: The large clutch assembly nut has a right-hand thread and must be rotated counterclockwise to remove it.
Using the special tool, remove the fan and fan clutch from the coolant pump pulley.

To install, tighten to 133 Nm (98 ft. lbs.).
