3. If equipped, disconnect the power distribution auxiliary relay box and position it aside.
4. Remove the brake pedal cotter pin cover and the brake pedal cotter pin.
5. Position the brake pedal position (BPP) switch and the brake booster push rod off the brake pedal pin.
6. Remove the 4 brake booster-to-pedal bracket nuts.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).
7. Remove the brake booster.
8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
