ISSUE
Some 2006-2007 F-Super Duty vehicles equipped with a 6.0L diesel engine may exhibit a intermittent malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) light on and/or
intermittent diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0470 only in conditions where ambient temperatures are below freezing on start up.
ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 50.10 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the
VCM 2007.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
