3. NOTE: Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
4. Check the restraint system for correct operation.

Removal and Installation
WARNING: All safety belt assemblies (including retractors, belt tension sensor (BTS), if equipped, buckles, shoulder belt height adjusters [if
equipped], child safety seat tether attachments and attaching hardware) should be inspected after every collision. All new belt assemblies
should be installed unless a qualified technician finds the assemblies show no damage and operate correctly. Belt assemblies not in use during a
collision should also be inspected and new assemblies installed if either damage or incorrect operation is noted. Failure to follow these
instructions could increase the risk of injury in collisions.
Both seats
1. Fold the second row 40 and 60 percent seat backrest FORWARD.

Remove the safety belt buckle(s) and lap belt assembly from between the seat backrest and cushion.
NOTE: The remaining steps of the procedure are shown with the second row seat removed for clarity.
2. Remove the wing nut and the jack tools.
3. Remove the 3 bolts and the jack assembly compartment.
Left side safety belt buckle assembly
