31. CAUTION: Fuel injection equipment is manufactured to very precise tolerances and fine clearances. To prevent fuel system damage, it is
essential that absolute cleanliness is observed when working with these components. Always install Fuel System Caps to any open orifices
or tubes.
Remove the fuel filter supply and return tube banjo bolts and copper sealing washers from the fuel filter module.

Discard the copper sealing washers.
32. Remove the stud bolt, the bolts and the fuel filter module.
33. Remove the bolts, the collar and the thermostat housing.

Remove and discard the press-in-place gasket.
34. Remove the fuel injector return tube bracket nut.
35. Remove the fuel injector return tube bracket bolts.

Remove the banjo bolts, copper sealing washers and the fuel injector return tube.

Discard the copper sealing washers.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Use only banjo bolts with a green hex head. The green-headed bolts do not contain a check valve. When viewed from the
inner end, the correct bolt will appear open. Failure to install the correct banjo bolt may result in damage to the fuel system.
Position the fuel injector return tube. Install new copper sealing washers and the banjo bolt to the cylinder heads.
