Power Door Lock Switch: Description and Operation
Deactivating/Activating Power Door Unlock Switch Inhibit
DEACTIVATING/ACTIVATING POWER DOOR UNLOCK SWITCH INHIBIT
NOTE: The power door unlock switch inhibit feature needs to be enabled to perform the deactivating/activating power door unlock switch inhibit
procedure.
This is customer configured. Steps 1 through 3 must be completed within 30 seconds.
1. Turn the key to ON, then press UNLOCK 3 times.
2. Turn the key to OFF, then press UNLOCK 3 times.
3. Turn the key to ON, within 5 seconds press LOCK 2 times.
The user will receive 2 horn chirps to indicate the system has been disabled or 2 chirps followed by a horn honk to indicate the system has been enabled.
Pressing LOCK 2 times again will toggle the door lock control switch inhibit feature state. Turn the key OFF to exit the programming mode.
This feature can also be enabled/disabled using a diagnostic tool.
