Lateral Stabilizer Rod: Service and Repair
Removal
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. NOTE: To prevent the front suspension from shifting when the trackbar is removed, the front suspension must be supporting the vehicle's weight.
Load the front suspension with the vehicle's weight.

Position jack stands under the front axle housing.

Lower the vehicle until the front suspension is supporting the vehicle's weight.
3. Disconnect the trackbar from the upper mounting bracket.

Remove the nut and bolt.

Remove the trackbar from the bracket.
4. Remove the trackbar from the lower mounting bracket.

Remove the nut and bolt.
2
Remove the trackbar.
