Removal
1. Remove the vertical EGR cooler and EGR valve. For additional information, refer to Emission Control Systems.
2. Remove the throttle body (TB). For additional information, refer to Fuel Delivery and Air Induction.
3. Remove the bolts and the intake throttle adapter.

Remove and discard the gasket.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-inch).
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Install a new gasket.
