25. Clean and inspect the LH camshaft bearing caps.

The camshaft front thrust bearing cap contains an oil metering groove. Make sure the groove is free of foreign material.
26. Remove the LH camshaft.
27. NOTICE: If the components are to be reinstalled, they must be installed in the same positions, or engine damage may occur. Mark the
components for installation into their original locations.
Remove all of the remaining camshaft roller followers from the cylinder heads.
Installation
NOTICE: Timing chain procedures must be followed exactly or damage to valves and pistons will result.
1. NOTICE: If the components are to be reinstalled, they must be installed into their original locations or engine damage may occur.
NOTE: Camshaft shown installed to clarify camshaft roller follower position.
NOTE: Lubricate the camshaft roller followers with clean engine oil prior to installation.
Install only the identified camshaft roller followers onto the RH cylinder head.
2. NOTICE: If the components are to be reinstalled, they must be installed into their original locations or engine damage may occur.
