Removal and Installation
1. Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.
2. Turn the steering wheel to the straight-ahead position.
3. Remove and discard the steering wheel bolt.

To install, tighten the new bolt to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
4. Remove the steering wheel while routing the wires from the clockspring through the steering wheel.
5. Tape the clockspring center rotor to the outer housing to keep it from rotating.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
