7. Remove the driver air bag module.

1. Remove the two back cover plugs.
2. Remove the two driver air bag module screws.
3. Disconnect the horn electrical connector.
4. Disconnect the air bag sliding contact electrical connector.
5. Remove the driver bag module.

8. Attach restraint system diagnostic tool (418-F088) to the air bag sliding contact electrical connector at the top of the steering column.
