Removal and Installation
NOTE: Super Cab and Crew Cab vehicles with short bed frames are shown, all other frame lengths are similar.
1. Release the tension on the parking brake system.
2. Separate the parking brake cables at the parking brake equalizer.
3. NOTE: Vehicles with long box frames have the wire form bracket located under the rear axle front spring hanger.
Remove the wire form bracket bolt from the frame rail and release the conduit from the frame guide.
4. Remove the parking brake cable bracket bolt from the differential.
