Fluid Pan, Gasket and Filter

Material

Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.

2. Remove the transmission fluid drain plug and allow the fluid to drain.

3. Remove the transmission fluid pan and gasket.

4. Remove the transmission fluid filter.

CAUTION:  Carefully remove the transmission fluid filter seal. Damage to the seal bore will cause transmission failure.
