6.8L - HESITATION/LOSS OF RPM/LOW IDLE RPM/DRIVEABILITY CONCERNS

FORD:
2005-2007 F-Super Duty
2006-2007 F-53 Motorhome Chassis

ISSUE
Some 2005-2007 F-Super Duty and 2006-2007 F-53 Motorhome Chassis vehicles equipped with a 6.8L engine may exhibit hesitation, loss of RPM
and/or low idle RPM driveability concerns.

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 67.04 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the
VCM 2010.5 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.

WARRANTY STATUS: Eligible Under Provisions Of New Vehicle Limited Warranty Coverage 
IMPORTANT: Warranty coverage limits/policies are not altered by a TSB. Warranty coverage limits are determined by the identified causal part.
