Removal
CAUTION: Suspension fasteners are critical parts because they affect performance of vital components and systems and their failure can
result in major service expense. They must be replaced with the same part number or an equivalent part if replacement is necessary. Do not
use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Torque values must be used as specified during reassembly to make sure of
correct retention of these parts.
1. Remove the wheel bearing and hub assembly.
2. Remove the cotter pin and tie-rod end nut.

Discard the cotter pin.
3. If removing the RH wheel spindle, using the special tool, disconnect the RH outer tie-rod end and drag link from the wheel spindle.
