Evaporator Core - With Auxiliary Climate Control
REMOVAL
NOTE:

If an evaporator core leak is suspected, the evaporator core must be leak-tested before it is removed from the vehicle.

Installation of a new suction accumulator is not required when repairing the air conditioning system, except when there is physical evidence of
system contamination from a failed A/C compressor or damage to the suction accumulator.
1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the suction accumulator.
4. Remove the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and bracket assembly.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Disconnect the clamp and disconnect the vacuum line.

Remove the nuts and the MAP sensor and bracket assembly.
5. Loosen the clamps and remove the intercooler tube.
6. Release the clamp and disconnect the heater inlet hose from the engine.
