Installation
Transmissions without a fixed flange
1. Using the Output Shaft Seal (RWD) Installer, install the extension housing seal.
Transmissions with a fixed flange
2. Using the Transmission Extension Housing Seal (4WD) Installer, install the output shaft seal.
3. Using the Output Shaft Locknut Socket, install a new output shaft nut.

Tighten to 200 Nm (148 lb-ft).
4. Install the output shaft flange and a new bolt.

Tighten to 130 Nm (96 lb-ft).
4WD vehicles
5. Install the transfer case.
All vehicles
6. Install the driveshaft.
