F 550 4WD Super Duty V10-6.8L (2009)
Removal and Installation
1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Disconnect the front transmission fluid cooler tubes from the radiator in-tank transmission fluid cooler.
3. Remove the secondary latches.
4. Using the Transmission Cooler Line Disconnect Tool, disconnect the front transmission fluid cooler tubes from the rear transmission fluid cooler
tube assembly.
5. Disconnect the front transmission fluid cooler tube assembly retainer from the frame rail and remove the front transmission fluid cooler tube
assembly.
6. Remove the rear transmission fluid cooler tube assembly bracket nut.

To install, tighten to 11 Nm (97 lb-in).
7. For gasoline engine vehicles, remove the starter harness bracket nut and position the harness and bracket aside.

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
