7. Remove the shift cable bracket from the transmission (5.4L, 6.8L, 7.3L Diesel).
1. Remove the bolts.
2. Remove the shift cable bracket.
Installation
1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.

Adjust the shift cable.
